Self-learning

2 months and 2 weeks have passed! I am determined to learn everything about this new job and I want to be able to do everything myself when I leave this position. This is my very first tutorial with Adobe Illustrator. Even though I am a technical writer lots of my work require images’ manipulation using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
I hope this is the beginning of a big step:

Back to the Hills

I went for a hike this morning. Very steep hill all the way up! One needs training and a strong heart to sustain the hike at a decent speed. I also took some nice pictures on the way. Don’t be fooled by the nice view, the city is quite small and ugly. Everything looks pretty on a nice picture!

I also managed to do few little things during the weekend: checked for a costume, did my laundry and downloaded few useful programs. Calm and enjoyable weekend!

Time goes by so quickly!

Weeks and months passed by and I did not realise it. My weekends are very precious and they always seem too short. I’ve got my own new flat screen at work and it is quite pleasant, I am still waiting on the laptop that has been ordered 2 months ago. The weather is getting nicer now that summer is around the corner.

I am one year older and I don’t want to think about it. It was a great relaxing weekend…too short again! I bought a pair of running shoes for my BD. I shall use it of course. I don’t really want to buy a fancy expensive rowing machine because I really intend to move back to Paris as soon as I get the chance. 2 months have gone already and I need four more to make this working experience relevant. Also I want to store more cash in my bank account to be ready for the next step.
I almost finished my 4th healer in WoW. It has become much easier playing with people now that I have connections and experience. I get invitation to join 10-25 man raid quite easily. I guess the same thing applies to real life so I shall focus on working on that.

Great Weekend!

Very relaxing! I managed to do everything I wanted to do: laundry, cooking, discovering a running trail around, shopping a bit, writing some stuffs, watching few movies and of course playing WoW. I could even afford a nap on Saturday. It was like heaven on Earth. Once you get back to a working schedule, weekends are priceless!
I am going back to Paris next weekend for Easter! Cannot wait!

Last week was really something. My dad was admitted to the hospital for a checking and was diagnosed with possible complications and maybe another operation. After 6 days during which he underwent all kind of testing, it turned out he was OKAY. He came home yesterday all happy.
I had my first big deadline also last week for my very first project. I finished on Monday and I was happy it was over. Without realizing it, I have corrected and changed numerous projects already: vip400, vip40/45, reflex ic60, RCA, electrical vehicles, etc…. All these codes are now part of of my everyday life.
Almost one month and 2 weeks :)!!! Yea yEa Yiiieaaaa

Screw these Screws!

I went to the store and finally took these. They did not even call to let me know they have arrived. It took me about 3 hours to build the damn bed and my body is sore today. It was hard work! It was supposed to be built by 2 people. I have now all the essentials and I do not want to spend another month like the last one. Horrible!
If I ever have to move again, I will find a fully furnished thing to start with. It is a lot of stress to rent an unfurnished studio. Besides I do not intend to stick around. Who would guess anyways it would turn out to be that complicated.
The studio is fully functional and comfy now that everything has found its own place. It was a bit empty and flat before. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope for no other unpleasant event in the near future. I really need calm and rest.

Speudo Long Weekend!

In 25 min, I am taking the train to go back to Paris to have a one-day training tomorrow. Then weekend at my parents’ and back to Grenoble on Sunday. It’ll be cool!

Internet went down yesterday just before I went to bed at midnight. I thought I had more trouble again. Luckily it went back this morning. Pfew! Panic time!
