Alright there is a huge competition going on between different services and Google just got in. So people will be able to enjoy more icloud space.
Microsoft’s Skydrive: 7 Gb (25 GB if you were in the trial program)
Google Drive : 5 Gb
Apple’s Icloud: 5 Gb
Dropbox: 3 gb (8 Gb if u advertise to friends)
They all do the same thing. I am currently using Dropbox and I am in the process of moving to Skydrive.

1 year and 4 kgs gone!

It took me about a year to loose 4 kgs. 5 years ago, I couldn’t get ONE kg no matter what I ate. My dad’s heart accident was the key to my awareness. To me, it is not really important to live long enough but how I would get older. I do not want to be sick or to depend on someone because I am sick. My whole family on both sides seems to have health problems when they get older. Heart disease and diabetes are our Nemesis. My parents smoked a lot so it didn’t help. People from my generation in the family were able to avoid the 2 main problems: getting fat and smoking.

I bought it. I couldn’t resist and wasted 619 euros on this damn Iphone 4S (no phone plans, just a pay-as-you-go micro sim card). Everything runs so smoothly on it. No easy method to unlock it yet. It’s only been jailbroken with firmware 5.0.1 not 5.1 yet. There is nothing to do but download absinthe and let it do everything. I gave the old 3G to my brother. I had to restore it using a tricky method since Itune won’t do it normally because the baseband has been modified (error 1015): LINK. I am afraid my brother might want a fast Samsung now from Ebay.

I’ve been looking for a nice and easy way to share/watch movies on the Iphone. Airplayit allows you to share your movies on the local computer with your Iphone over Wifi/3G connection. Sooooo nice! Everything is read, converted and sent straight to the Iphone screen. In practice, you have your personal network media library to stream from. Isn’t it Nice? Watching movies in your bed on the Iphone screen?

I managed to jailbreak and to desimlock the old Iphone 3G that my sister gave to me a while ago. The process is well documented on the web. Also, for 20 euros, you can get it done at some shops. I had problem with the old computer that did not recognize the Iphone USB port during the rebooting into the DFU mode.
Besides the usual stuffs, websurfing, mail, youtube, etc… you can also watch movies, play games, read books, read comics on the Iphone. The interesting part is how to do it for FREE. I wanted to do it all using the current Itune’s capabilities and of course using other illegal applets. The hardest thing with the Iphone is how to get files on the Iphone at the right location so that the required applet can open these files.

Playing with ClassiPress

I had this idea of hosting a simple and elegant website that would allow users to post ads quickly and easily. It took me few days to find the right tools and to learn how to set them up on my own computer.
I wanted to play with ClassiPress theme. The whole step by step setting is HERE. Quite painful to go through the whole thing if you do not know much and want to do everything besides writing the codes for the theme itself. It took me 3 days to get through the whole setting… kept me busy!
The final result is installed on my computer HERE.
