SiS’ HouSe!

I finally managed to go and check my sis’ house. It is very pretty and all new. There is of course plenty of space that will probably be filled in with decorations over the years however they have already done a good job decorating it. I wish I had enough courage to decorate my little studio but I seriously doubt about it since I do not receive many friends. I like empty white space that is perfectly clean and I like having machines such as a rowing machine, a TV and computer screens.

OnE GoOd DeEd!

The young couple: Sylvain and Sonie had a problem with their dishwasher. After struggling 2 times with it, I discovered the problem: detectors responsible for the water control were disconnected in the back of the machine. It was very hard to see those connectors in the back of the machine. Anyways, the couple was extremely grateful because it bothered them for a week and they also tried everything and spent hours on the machine as well.
I wrote to the seller of my studio and requested a formal explanation regarding the delay of my studio. I want to negotiate some financial compensation. I do not think it was fair to tell me about the delay just after the signature of the contract. I could have been warned before. We shall see.

I’ve been notified that the construction of my studio was delayed: 2 months. I wrote to the company and requested formal justifications and maybe financial compensation since I will have to pay 2 extra months for rent. We shall see.
I like people in my current building so I do not mind the extra time however it would be nicer if someone else is paying the rent :)! The lift is finally working. Everyone was very happy to learn that from me since the technician told me first when I entered the parking lot yesterday. It is probably nicer also to avoid a major moving after New year’s Eve in the cold and with no business opened during that time of the year.

So I got a speeding ticket: 45 Euros and minus 1 point! 134 kms above the 130 kms/h limit.
I bought the flu vaccin and shot myself. It was surprisingly pleasant to do something that might hurt but in the end it was very smooth and I did not feel much of the pain.

I re-installed my computer and I forgot I had the photos on the main drive so I deleted all pictures I took during the wedding. So if one of my cousin can send again my files to this ftp that would be great:

1. A permanent contract
2. A decent salary that allows me to buy high-tech stuffs and games.
3. A Car, fully paid for!
4. A new studio to move in next year! (3 months to go). The studio is only 15 min from work!

6. Learn to dance properly
7. Maybe use a bike to go to work next year!
8. Maybe a better job with a higher salary!
9. Think about places I would like to go for vacation. I do not really want to leave France. A road trip around France would be cool for next year. I need fast internet so hopefully the 4G offer will be available by then and it would cover 90% of France.

Finally, I am officially the owner of my studio. The final paper has been signed today. Let’s keep fingers crossed and hopefully I will move in on time and with no bad surprises after. Geez! that was a really long process but I got to see the end of it.

Today I called and asked my solicitor how things went for the studio. Indeed, I have given the solicitor the right to sign the final act on my name
I was very displeased to learn that a missing document prevented the seller’s solicitor to sign. It was the proof by mail that I have received the contract offer. I immediatly called everybody and asked why this document was missing. I did not accept any excuses from any of them and requested a financial compensation. I threatened all of them to retrieve the contract and requested all money to be sent back to the banks tomorrow.
That worked! The seller has accepted to pay all banking interests! I requested the solicitor a solution and also to be called today. She did and I told on the phone that she did a very poor job and that I would like to get rid of her. She defended herself but had to acknowledge that something was not right. I told her that if she had some pride she should resign and not asking for money for a job she did not do! She had to send an apology at 7 pm. I really wanted to kick her out but there is no garranty I would get a better person.
Anyways they all knew what I felt and they were extremely surprised to see a determined person negociating a contract. I was indeed ready to withdraw 131 000 euros!
