fAmiLy NeWs!

Our entire family meets once a year during Xmas holidays and that’s about it. I personally think that it is a blessing for all of us that everyone is healthy and happy doing whatever they are doing.
Should I meet them more and why? Everyone seems a bit sad about the fact that we do not meet more often. What would we do if we meet more? We would talk more and I would probably get into some arguments I want to avoid in the first place. My standards and values are so different from people I know.
Last time I met my sister, here is what I remember:
1. I drove for an hour to her place.
2. We visited the nice new house.
3. Her husband was out doing some shopping and was stuck in the lane.
4. We ate quickly after he got back.
5. We made some useless comments about the decoration which was already very nice.
6. My mother kept asking about the price of each thing. Dunno why but she does it all the time.
7. My sister got a bit annoyed and made some sharp comments that annoyed my brother
8. I, mentally, made notes to avoid the subject of prices next time :).
9. We left not really happier.
10. I forgot about her 2 cats (Gandalf and Ghost) and the dog. They are lovely to look at but they are so well educated that none of them is jumping at people. It is hard to get attached to any of them since they avoid people.
So do I want to drive all the way for another hour to revive this excellent “ordinary” moment?

Another 4 days long weekend is coming and it is awesome. I will just relax. I practiced a lot of exercises with the Xbox (Kinect) and I also went to the park with my bike.
No internet yet and it is expensive to rely on 4G deals: 30 euros for 6Gb data download.

4 days-off, long nice weekend at home: playing WoW, D3, watching movies, doing exercises and relaxing.
I am running into some problems with my prepaid 4G. Indeed, since my free trial ended, I only use expensive prepaid cards and they have annoying restrictions. I hope I will get internet at the end of next week.

sOOn 2 MonThs!

It will soon be 2 months that I moved in. Nothing much has changed. 6 out of 47 apartments are occupied. Looks like they are all finished. I do not see workers around anymore.
The internet is still not fixed however it looks like it is finally moving in the right direction. There is a temporary company that will take care of the building until the first General Assembly. I called and requested the meeting. The trash bins were not delivered yet but there is a company cleaning the trash.

On my way to the park, I come accross a playing field. I see a group of asian people playing “petanque”. Each time I see that, it reminds me of the begginning of my life in France.
Today I looked at the timeline of my life, and I cried again:
If only I can go back in time. I would say one thing to this little boy I was:
“Don’t be afraid, it will be alright”
He had dreams … so many dreams.

I got home and I did all my routine then around 7 pm, I wanted to take a shower. No more hot water, the heater was off and it had strange errors, the gas was shut down. I went mad and called everyone until I got the person who can check my account and she confirmed that it was a huge mistake and she did not know the reason.
They called the repair dude and I got it back after 30 min. Crazy!

Here come Spring, the pollen and all sorts of particles that will irritate my nose and eyes.
This nice device (it creates fog) helps greatly with saturating air with humidity forcing particles to stay on the ground. I would recommend it warmly and it seems working for me.

a Poisonous LeGacy!

When I left my previous studio, I carefully thought about my revenge.
I did not pay the extra charges. It becomes more obnoxious when you know that the extra charges per month is 40 euros and it is equal to the amount of money the owner must pay to the agency for its service. The final check for rent was sent to the Agency but it was on the name of the owner.
One of them will walk away with no problem and will leave the other with the charges: either the owner or the agency! The tricky part is that the decision belongs to the other party. Looks like they are fighting over it since my check was not withdrawn.
That was my final act of revenge and I am Evil!
