I helped this resident with his internet and I put an ad for him on a website, leboncoin.fr, to sell his wine. When he heard me telling him that there are cockroaches in my studio and that several residents complained. He told me that he works in this business and he will come to my place with the best chemical to get rid of the cockroaches. He was very happy that he could return the favor and it was perfect for me.

My gosh …. this notion of time is getting on my nerves!
I am 39 years old and I can feel the importance of the notion of time. I just want to have free time to do whatever what I want: play run bike enjoy life and do whatever I have not done yet.
I can feel another mental crisis coming. It is a violent one :).

The two little kids stopped by for another IT problem and they gave me a box of chocolates. I explained to them that, at my age, it is better to avoid sweets because it is hard to get rid of extra kilos. They did not want to take the box of chocolates back and I gave them a USB mouse and I fixed their problem.
A resident asked me for help with a box of wine he found in a cave. It is not worth much!

There was a serious problem with the sewer at building B and I set my mind to fix it:
2 enormous trucks blocked the whole “boulevard”
6 huge dudes came (twice my height and 3 times my size!)
They told me that they only followed orders from someone called “Mr Guedon” when I started to give them instructions and opened the front door of the building. I stood in my corner alone and I waited quietly until “Mr Guedon” came and “Mr Guedon”gave his instructions to the 6 men. He told two guys that they can leave since they are not really needed here now.
I said to “Mr Guedon” and the 6 big dudes:
“Please stay here until my problem is solved, I do not want to spend another day about this problem!”
The 6 big dudes were looking at “Mr Guedon” who accepted quietly. They said nothing but they understood that I was not only there to watch and to say nothing. I was there to check their work.

A weirdo tried to teach his 2 dogs how to behave when I came on my bike. One of the dog was freaking out when he saw my bike and the master shouted to him to bite my “huge thigh” (“mords les grosses cuisses! mords les!”). He was dead serious about that and he shouted several times the same thing to his freaky dog.
I was like .. “dUh! What the f*ck”
Luckily the dog was running away and he was scared by the bike but the master is a real werdo!

I noticed a decrease in the frequency of my lies in 2 situations:
1. Necessary lies: When I do interact with people in complicated deals that involve money. I always take harsh positions nowadays: do what I want now or go away!
2. Unnecessary lies: Most of the times, I noticed that I lied because I was afraid of the consequence if I were to say the truth. However, I did not really need to lie.
There is one simple way to avoid unnecessary lies: Always anticipate and accept the negative consequence of an answer. It takes however a lot of self-control and, of course, time to do so. You do not have time in real-life interactions therefore I try to make people talk a bit longer to allow myself to think.
