Since I am friendly with the old ladies at the store, they always try to tell me if the “bone” is available. It’s just smoked cooked ham but it is delicious and very expensive. I prefer the “bone” part because it’s cheap with lots of meat.
Today’s light dinner:

The ENT specialist (Ear-Nose-Throat specialist) simply said that my hearing tests were almost perfect. He did sense something near the range of 4000 Hz that might cause some minor events such as me hearing low frequencies — it was just the inner ear that reacted to some fatigue.

I’ve been receiving since few weeks spams through SMS and un-answered calls, it was annoying because it forced me to check my phone. Finally, I found a way to block them though my provider interface. There is indeed an option to selectively block unwanted incoming SMS numbers and incoming calls.

“Je vais te tuer ma fille parce que tu nous pourris la vie= I will kill you, my daughter, because you made my life like hell”. It was a horrible article in “Lemonde” about the reality of a bad adoption. This article is an illustration of a sad situation where the kid didn’t like his/her life. The adopted parents were probably thinking that they gave the kid all they could but it probably never occurred to them that the kid never really wanted his or her life this way ….
I could see that feeling in many people, the fat kid, all the weird families around me and even in my own feelings. Life looks more like a burden than a gift. It does not mean that I will turn into something crazy or destroy myself. I accept this strange reality and I move on for maybe something better someday.

This new method of payment allows me to pay my purchases that are below 20 euros without scanning my card and entering a code. I tried it three times but it did not work and finally someone told me that I needed to hold my card in front of the detector until the 4 lights turn “blue”. I did not keep my card in front of the detector long enough previously. It was fun to play with this new payment method.

I was a bit surprised to see my bank account debited twice by the tax collector. Luckily, they immediately reimbursed the excess. The whole confusion was my fault. I saw that they wanted to charge me 1/3 of my tax therefore I switched to a monthly payment. So it was a bit confusing for their system.

My legs are now hard as steel: 30 kms / week! I tried not to push too much and I kept a regular rhythm. After I ran up the stairs, an old woman who did the same said that it was “beautiful” to be young, I made her laugh when I told her that the climb did hurt me very much as well.. She had a warm laugh.

I ran 3 times 10 kms last week. My body is a bit sore. The trees are blossoming and it is nice to see the new green leaves and the flowers.
I was shocked when I came to help Malika with her administrative paperwork after her minor surgery. She wanted to make copies of her paperwork. She had a tiny bone removed from her front foot and it was replaced by some screws. I saw the photo of the bone-screw and it looked almost perfect. However, she was limping like an old woman and she is 10 days younger than I am. I am glad that I do not suffer anything that requires surgery and that I can still run 10 kms.

I learned a new word while reading the plot of this movie: The Lobster.
“Dystopian” is the opposite of “Utopia”: something that is undesirable or frightening.
After further reading, I finally understood the meaning of this movie. I needed to accept the logic of the movie: “undesirable or frightening”. There is nothing such as happiness in a dystopian society. The characters, in this movie, only try to achieve more pain to themselves and to others.
