When I was in the court room, I listened to other people’s stories. Many of the trials were about building management issues and banking matters. There was one strange story, a mother and her daughter were sued for not paying the late interest fees on the daughter’s student loan. They spent more than 10 minutes in complicated personal stories (depression, youth, school, insurance’s lack of moral intentions and what not..) and the lawyer stayed quietly waiting knowing he will win the case easily.

The mother and her daughter were just crying instead of stating the law. If someone cannot say in one sentence a case law and the reason why that case law applies to them, they should not go to court without PAYING a lawyer… waste of time and surely it won’t help them with their financial issues!

I wonder if I would be a good lawyer.

Finally, I attended the first and minor trial against my bank. The court room was full of people coming and waiting to be called. Most of the cases were just postponed for different reasons (missing documents, extra time, etc …)

In my case, the judge will deliver the verdict in December, the 22nd 2016. I thought that I had to say something but, in my case, the bank couldn’t add anything more than what I already sent in. So after an ID check and the confirmation that all documents were there, I was gone (2 minutes).

Finally, I can relax and recover quietly from the painful gastroenteritis. The next trial is set for June 27 2017.

At 3:30 am, I thought I would die! The gastroenteritis was short but extremely painful as usual. I could still attend my doctor appointment at 10:30 am but I had to repress the desire to throw up every 5 min in the car.

Around 12:30 pm, I had to clean up everything because it was very messy. I was quickly hungry, and I ate carefully and slowly. I drank a lot of hot water with salt or sugar.

There was nothing left in my stomach. I could see at my weight: 57.8 kgs

I really really did not want to watch this movie. I hate this type of movies, twisted, sad and heavy. However, like it or not, you will not be able to stop watching this movie until the end:

I did not send any harmful email this week. I stayed quiet because I wanted to have a restful week alone with my mind. About a year ago, I posted about this video “How to spot a liar“.

The solution I found to make it easier is not really to insult or to confront every lies I heard in my every day life. I tried to focus on the actions. I just asked people: What did you do? Can you show it to me? Where was it written? Can you explain to me exactly what this word means? Can you write to me what you just said?

It was really helpful and sadly most people did not have a clue of what they said. The good thing for me is that I tend to double check, to look for the real answer from other sources, mainly from the internet and to compare the results.

Good action’s list this week:

  1. Wikipedia’s contribution: 10 euros
  2. Install Windows 10 for “couscous dude”, perfect working machine for free.
  3. Help “couscous dude” taking an appointment for his wife to apply for the french nationality
  4. Fix “Couscous dude” laptop… he could not make a clean installation and was annoyed by 2 windows
  5. Give an old hommie 1 Euros

Bad actions:

  1. Threatening the car insurance lawyer
  2. Threatening the electrical company
  3. Threatening the cleaning company
  4. Threatening the elevator company

Conclusion:

Things should balance out in the end. Getting money back and getting things fixed for free cannot be that bad. I should somehow tell “couscous dude” that I do not want his couscous meals. He gave me 2 times couscous meals to thank me and I had to throw them away.

Yea yea Yea yea …59 kgs!

I need to avoid the temptation of eating a huge steak now and I really want to eat one! It was a hard and painful diet. I almost forced myself to eat portions that I would give to my dog.
