“Couscous dude” came and asked me if I know how to configure a “demo wifi”. It was, in fact, a satellite receiver. I told him that he needs to connect to a satellite dish for the receiver to work. He told me that the receiver should work through Wifi. Indeed, the receiver can connect directly to the internet and play movies through a specific streaming site. Many internet ADSL boxes do the same thing. My TV can do the same thing without any receiver!
His real problem is that he does not know what Internet/Wifi, radio signals or satellites signals are. It is very confusing in his head. For him, Wifi is not internet related even though the first thing he did was to connect to his internet box through the Wifi server and enter the Wifi password :’)
Chromecast would do exactly the same thing but better!

These are the hardest to find for me and I found 2 perfect ones at Decathlon. It will become my favorite store from now on! Again they are nice hiking type pants. The fabric is light extremely warm and it defies all weather conditions! It is very elegant and the size is near perfection for me.

I bought a new jacket (hiking /mountaineer type) today after 8 years and I love it! It looks all fancy and classy and I really thought it would be very hard to find one that looks like this for my size! These types of jacket are extremely warm and they are waterproof yet extremely light. I love my new jacket.

It has been a while that I have talked to Aurore, my long time school friends. We had a lunch in Chinatown and we chat a bit. She had changed her job and she bought a different place. It is always relaxing to talk to Aurore.

I was on limited internet access for few days because I outspent my 50 Gb data limit and I was waiting for my new internet provider to get activated so 3 days of intense pain.
All is back to normal now and I also finished scanning all the pictures from the family albums. Time to download movies and upload files normally again.
I am really a nerd addict there is no doubt about that!

I had an otitis (ear infection causing acute pain to the inner ear) last weekend starting on Friday evening. I went to see the doctor today and all he said was that my ear-drums are perfect and that the infection must be gone. The doctor still gave me extra painkillers but nothing for the inner ear itself. I was happy but the otitis was extremely painful.
