I was reading about the group Imagine Dragons. Lead singer Dan Reynolds has stated that the song is about his relationship with his parents and explained that while “at times it’s been strained and difficult… in the end, ‘I Bet My Life’ celebrates the bond that we still hold on to.”

After 3 days of trial, the jury voted on the final decisions which were organised into series of questions:
1. Is he guilty? (Yes or No)
2. How long should he serve in prison? (choice: 1-20 years)
3. Should he be expelled from France territory indefinitely? (Yes or No)
The prosecutor requested only 10 years however the jury decided on 11 years. Never ever trust a group of jury! I had the impression that the jury added an extra year to punish the defender for his denial. Would he plead guilty, they would be more compassionate!
I was the most compassionate jury for this specific case… strangely! I only voted for 5 years meaning that he would be free since he has already served 2 and half years in prison.
The jury did not like the aggressive behavior from the lawyer and the extra year was certainly added to punish the lawyer!

I went to a nice Vietnamese restaurant and I went to the theater to watch Geostorm. I wanted to purge my mind from the excess of reality in a sad world!

Of course, I was the last pick to become one of the jury, so unlucky! Indeed, 2 young black dudes were picked before me but the lawyers recused them right away. The lawyers have the right to recuse 4 people amongst the ones picked randomly each time.
Someone’s life has flipped into madness because of 200 Euros in rent. What was sad is that you have access to every details of his life. We have 3 days to decide if someone’s life should end in prison for the next 15 years knowing that he has already had 46 miserable years on Earth. His victim was so poor that no-one even came to claim justice. A very sad world!

jUrY dUty!

Today, I attended the first session for my jury duty. I was excused for next week duty since I have my trial against my ex-employer. I am glad I do not have to attend the cases next week because it is a rape and a murder.
I do get 95 Euros per day if I was selected. Otherwise, I would just get my trips and the first day reimbursed.

Good run…!
I had to interrupt last week 10 Kms because of the vertigos. I still have minor vertigos but they are not as strong. My brain cannot find the vertical immediately anyhow since the BPPV.

My computer is so smooth and the fast internet speed so nice. I am almost bored for not finding anything wrong with my PC. Everything reacted at a click and any links showed up instantaneously.
I wanted to play Diablo 3 again yesterday with a new class: necromancer. It took me 15 secondes to download the whole 16 Gb of the game on the battle-net server at the awesome speed of 100 Mbit/sec!

The “fat” kid (no longer fat) wanted to borrow 9 Euros for some emergency, I simply told him that I did not have coins. I avoided to lend any cash to people in this building.
Most people noticed that I controlled all the sub-contractors working for the building so they all thought that I have access to CASH. Some people even asked me if there were any apartment to rent or if they could do some cleaning.
In reality, I selected random contractors around us, small companies so that I can avoid the stupid commercials who would lie. I explained to people that if they do not own a business and have insurance, it was impossible for me to select them for any type of work.

I immediately went to check to see if all my devices were properly using this 1 Gbit/s Ethernet port and it seems that only my PC can (LAN 2):
My Xbox 360 and my TV are only using 100 Mbit/sec max. It is excellent but still I want them all to be 1 Gbit/s compatible.
