This weather is treacherous: cold and hot. I am having a minor cold.

I like the way the trash is handled at my parents’ place. People have to take their trash outside and to dump them in huge underground bins. At my place, we have to spend a lot of money and time to keep the trash inside and to take it outside.

We all slept for a while after Lyn and Tom left :)! These charming little things require a lot of maintenance and energy however we managed. If the weather was better, I would have taken them to a farm to pick up fruits, maybe next time. We did spend 4 hours outside and they were quite tired.

I made a deal with the technician who is cleaning the buillding at my old place. I gave him everything I left there except the dish washer, the washing machine and the hot oven. He cleaned up the place for me also.
I think he was very happy because he did a very good job.
