lyN & tOM!

Lyn and Tom stopped by Saturday afternoon to spend sometimes with us. Funny, it was as if I had not stopped seeing them for more than a year. Lyn lost 4 teeth so did Tom.
They have grown but their physical appearances remained like before. Their movements are much better and more precise. I think that Tom can beat me now at his favorite game, of course, I have not spent as much time like he did.
We played games, watched “Toroto”, ate good food. Surprisingly, Lyn was the only one doing all the physical exercises with me. She seemed to enjoy both mental and physical challenges. Of course, there were direct questions from Lyn to which I kindly answered. It was funny to notice that, unlike the year before, she no longer lingered on the “Why” endless loop, she is gathering information and, even though, she did not understand everything, she accepted the fact of having facts. Tom did not ask anything, he just wanted to have fun and I hoped that he had fun.

Finally, the plants (tomatoes and chilies) with fruits arrived at the nurseries. They are a bit pricy at the moment but I could not resist. I will get more later for half their current price (15.90 Euros). This year, I will not let my mother touch them and expose them too early to the sun, they will have, at least, one week to adapt and expand their roots, then, carefully I will monitor their exposure to direct sunlight.

I was waiting for the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and I was very disappointed after watching the premiere of the movie.

My little “potager” looks cool: cherry tomatoes, hot peppers and coriander.

I had to pay a little bit more for 4 beers on May, 1st. I should have remebered that a lot of stores would be closed that day.

I spent a lot of my own money to buy good food to eat and my mother put them all in the freezer and re-imbursed me and she kept telling me that there are a lot in the freezer therefore I do not need to buy more. There are few things that I am very clear about in my life:
1. I avoid my mother for my own sanity.
2. If I do something, it means exactly what it means: I want it.

I dropped a bottle of beer at the check-out counter of the store and, embarrassed, I just tried to leave calmly. I was about to enter my car when I heard a tiny whistle sound. The security guard tried to catch up with me to tell me that I could go back to get another bottle of beer for free. After some seconds of hesitation, I told him that it only cost me 63 cents however he insisted by saying that it was normal. Happily, I came back and got another bottle of beer. It was a free act of kindness since the cashier, unlike the security guard, did not make the same offer and he was rather annoyed with the spilled beers on the ground.
